Customer Service Hours
The FDWD offers non-emergency service during our regular business hours:
Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
excluding holidays

Directions
From I-95:
- From I-95 north or south take Exit 15 onto Route 7 north.
- On Route 7 northbound, take Exit 2 (about 1.5 miles) onto New Canaan Avenue (Route 123)
- From the left lane, turn left from the off-ramp. The First Taxing District office is a 1 story brick building immediately to the left of the off ramp.
From the Merritt Parkway Northbound (And Route 7 Southbound):
- Take Exit 39A onto Route 7 south.
- On Route 7 southbound, take Exit 2 (about 1 mile) onto New Canaan Avenue (Route 123)
- From the left lane turn left from the off ramp and stay in the left lane under the overpass and through the next traffic light. The First Taxing District office is a 1 story brick building on the left immediately after the traffic light.
From the Merritt Parkway Southbound:
- Take Exit 40 A onto Main Avenue southbound (about 1 mile)
- Turn right at Dunkin Donuts onto New Canaan Avenue (Route 123)
- Cross the railroad tracks and turn into the second driveway on the right.
- Parking
- There is parking in front of the building and more parking in the rear.
