Distribution Operator

The duties include but are not limited to operate and maintain water mains, customer service lines and meters, hydrants, valves and pumping equipment, etc.  Requires high school, or vocational school diploma or an equivalent certificate; valid motor vehicle operator’s license; ability to perform responsibilities of position; good mechanical, customer service, and computer skills. Production Operator

The duties include efficient operation of water treatment, pumping and storage facilities utilizing remote or local controls; preventive maintenance and repairs; handling chemicals; laboratory analysis and record keeping; operate computerized and manual controls, piping, pumps and appurtenant electrical and control systems; and cleaning of equipment and facilities. When On-Call and during emergencies, availability is required 24 hours per day including weekends and holidays. Requires high school or vocational school diploma or an equivalent certificate; valid motor vehicle license; good mechanical, customer service and computer skills.
